Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician for a client site in Leetsdale, PA. The role covers mechanical, electrical, and PLC work, with responsibilities spanning inspection, product development support, and quality documentation.

The candidate should have a BS in Electrical Engineering (preferred) and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in reading schematics and using test equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years previous experience.
• Experience with hand tools, multimeters and basic test equipment is required.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics is required.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Provide support to various internal departments to assist with product changes, BOM updates, completion of PDRs, cost estimates, evaluation and testing of RGA systems products, and the non-conformance process.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical, electrical, and programming (PLC) skills.
• Conducts routine or scheduled inspections of machines and equipment.
• Assists with processes related to new product development and designs.
• Interpret manufacturing codes, quality documentation, blueprints, schematics, etc.
• Work with Engineering to validate new products for commercial launch and modifications of established products.
• Assemble and inspect all installed and operating parts to ensure proper operation within expected tolerances, as well as troubleshoot for proper operation, programming as needed.
• Act as the primary inspector for sign off on systems products check sheets prior to the closing of production orders.
• Provide support to various internal departments to assist with product changes, BOM updates, completion of PDRs, cost estimates, evaluation and testing of RGA systems products, and the non-conformance process.
• Assist Product Management with customer source inspection and submittal of Quality documentation
