Job summary

Sonoco in Henderson, KY is seeking an Electro Mechanical I to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on production and utility equipment. Responsibilities include performing maintenance, documenting tasks in CWORKS CMMS, and repairing equipment to documented standards.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLC hardware/software and progressive die/automation environments, and be willing to work open 2nd or 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on production and utility equipment.
• Perform maintenance tasks per work orders and SOPs.
• Document maintenance tasks in CWORKS CMMS.
• Repair equipment per procedures and standards.
• Troubleshoot to isolate causes and fix issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems and conveyors.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools.
• Maintain safety and follow HSE policies.
• Participate in RCA activities for equipment issues.
