Reading Truck in Reading is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain sophisticated fabrication equipment, automation, robotics, and control systems, and to help implement new equipment and processes. The role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience focusing on fabrication and automated equipment, with strong skills in PLC, robotics, and mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems.

Teamwork and problem-solving are essential.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in maintenance of fabrication and automated equipment.
• Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC, controls, robotics, automation, and complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing fabrication equipment, including lasers, press brakes, and CNC punch presses.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and reliability-centered maintenance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• Service and repair fabrication equipment including lasers, press brakes, coil lines, and CNC punch presses.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement automation upgrades and enhancements.
