Job summary
The Vollrath Company in Kiel, Wisconsin seeks an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain and repair complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across CNC equipment and tooling. You will read blueprints, diagnose PLC installations, perform troubleshooting, and supervise temp staff when needed.
Applicants should have state-certified journeyman status in electrical, millwright, or maintenance; 5+ years in industry; strong math, analytical, and teamwork skills,
Qualifications
- State-certified journeyman electrician, millwright or maintenance mechanic.
- 5+ years as Electro-Mech Technician in an industrial setting.
- Experience in PLC programming and installation.
- Experience with amplifiers, power supplies, test equipment, PLCs, cabling, motors, hydraulic schematics.
- Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of power presses and metalworking equipment.
- Strong math skills and problem-solving.
- Experience developing and managing preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform preventative and emergency repairs on CNC equipment, lifts and shop tools.
- Read blueprints and schematics; install or rearrange electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret PLCs and diagnostic relays; diagnose issues.
- Overtime and weekend work as required; supervise temporary staff.
- Provide own basic tools and contribute to housekeeping and safety.
