Job summary

Silgan Containers Mfg Corp in Wisconsin is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician for 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am shifts (4 days on, 4 days off). The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and modifying electrical and mechanical systems across a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a Trade School certification.
• 3+ years working as an Electro-Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing environment or a related degree.
• Experience with Allen Bradley systems, VFDs, PLC hardware and software, AC/DC circuits, 4-20 mA circuits and 440 MCCs.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics and drawings, handbooks, specifications, equipment manuals, and parts lists.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair and modify all electrical and mechanical systems.
• Investigate all types of mechanical, operational, or electrical issues and plan for and take corrective action.
• Perform maintenance, wiring and installation of motors, switches, switch panels, fuse boxes, lighting testing and power circuits.
• Create and maintain up-to-date layouts of electrical circuits.

Shift: 6AM to 6PM (4 days on, 4 days off - Continuous Shift) 6PM-6AM (4 days on, 4 days off - Continuous Shift)

What we offer you

• Starting pay: $38.08/hour
• Shift differential for 12 hour/2nd shift (6p-6a): $1.00 per shift
