Job summary

Burroughs, a long-standing technology service provider, is seeking a technician to repair electro-mechanical assemblies with close adherence to procedures and engineer-guided instructions. You will troubleshoot, test, and repair parts to Burroughs' standards while escalating issues as needed.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong reading of schematics, PCB soldering skills (including SMT), and the ability to work with measurement instruments and standard office software.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Electronics school degree preferred.
• 2+ years in production/repair environment.
• Strong ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• The service and repair of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies based on written procedures and technician's knowledge.
• Evaluation of customer parts to determine repairs required to refurbish parts.
• Implement and test repair of customer parts.
• Maintains consistent, superior work quality with limited supervision.
• Manages time effectively.
• Contributes to process and quality improvement.
• Accurate input of information in Repair System.
• Maintains personal workstation and other workstations used during a repair or assembly.
• Willing to assist in shop as required.
