Job summary

The role requires an AA degree or equivalent with 1–3 years of related experience, ability to read manuals and schematics, and strong problem-solving skills. You will handle service reports, support safety procedures, and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 1–3 years related experience and/or training, or five years equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions; write routine reports; speak before groups of customers or employees; calculate figures and apply algebra, physics and geometry.
• Must possess a general understanding of electronics and intermediate to complex troubleshooting skills.
• Must understand maintenance diagrams such as schematics, parts breakdowns, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Repair electronic and/or mechanical equipment at component level of intermediate complexity.
• Perform basic product development.
• Communicate with customers on an occasional basis as necessary.
• Build fixtures under general supervision.
• Perform warranty analysis.
• Process required service report paperwork.
