Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Repair Assembler to assemble electro-mechanical assemblies per specifications and inspect subassemblies. The role involves reading work instructions, diagrams, and drawings, and using hand and power tools to assemble components.

Requires a high school diploma and 0–1 years' experience; candidates must have a strong mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and good English communication. ESD safety and accurate records are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 years experience, training is provided.
• A strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery and pneumatic operated tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Basic computer skills – email, work instructions.
• Attention to detail.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Read, comprehend, interpret & follow basic work instructions, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, & other written instructions.
• Assembles components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Mechanical type assembly using hand tools and power tools.
• Work with materials from heavy parts to small intricate parts.
• Identify product defects and report to appropriate personnel.
• Keep accurate records/logs etc.
• Handling of ESD sensitive materials and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
