Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in the United States is seeking a Mechanical Repair Assembler to build electro-mechanical subassemblies per engineering drawings and specifications, and to inspect finished products for quality.

You will use hand and power tools, read work instructions, and follow procedures while handling ESD-sensitive materials. 0–1 year of experience and a strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Read, comprehend, interpret and follow basic work instructions, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications and other written instructions.
• Assembles components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Uses hand tools and power tools for mechanical assembly.
• Handles various sizes of materials, from heavy parts to small intricate parts.
• Maintains records/logs and identifies product defects.
• Works with ESD sensitive materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read, comprehend, interpret & follow basic work instructions, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, & other written instructions. Follow established procedures to accurately assemble products
• Assembles components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies
• Mechanical type assembly using hand tools and power tools
• Working with various sized materials from heavy parts to small intricate parts
• Identify product defects and report on to appropriate personnel
• Keep accurate records/logs etc.
• Handling of ESD sensitive materials and equipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned
