Job summary

Sanmina is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies in a high-volume environment. You will set up and adjust processes, follow blueprints, and ensure tolerances meet specifications.

Reading and applying MPIs in English is required. Responsibilities include using manufacturing equipment, identifying electronic components, and performing quality control for SMT and PTH.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years of experience in a high volume assembly manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and understand English.
• Able to assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Follows methods and sequence of operations in wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing to blueprint specifications.
• Works on assigned tasks with occasional deviation from standard practices.
• Reads and follows manufacturing process instructions in English.
