You pull up the line status, check in with operators, and head straight to a folder-gluer that tripped. A quick look at the HMI, a meter on a 24V control circuit, and you’ve traced the fault to an I/O module. You go online with the PLC from the plant workstation to follow the logic and confirm. With parts in hand and the team looped in, the machine is back up—and the line keeps running.By 2:00 AM, you’re rotating to preventive tasks: inspecting conveyors, servicing bearings and gearboxes, and tightening up a VFD cabinet. When a call comes on a case packer, you triage priorities, solve the immediate issue, and document the root cause so the crew can plan a permanent fix.About the partnershipPro Services Workforce Solutions is recruiting on behalf of Packaging Corporation of America (PCA)—a Fortune 500 manufacturer with 16,000+ employees nationwide and a resilient, partnership-driven customer base.
