Job summary

Technical Needs is seeking an In-Process Inspector to join our manufacturing team in New Hampshire. You will perform visual and solder inspections on PCBA assemblies, verify AOI/AXI results, and complete First Article Inspections against prints and BOMs.

The role requires 1–3 years in electronics assembly, strong blueprint reading, and strict adherence to ESD and FOD prevention. You will document non-conformances, maintain logs, and assist with rework as needed on day shift.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in PCBA or electronic assembly environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of IPC-A-610 (acceptability criteria) and J-STD-001 (soldering requirements).
• Experience performing visual inspection and solder inspection using high-power microscopes.
• Ability to perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using customer blueprints and BOMs.
• Strong adherence to ESD safety protocols and FOD prevention.

Our client is looking for a/an In-Process Inspector.You’ll join a leading manufacturing solutions provider supporting fast-growing areas of the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) market, with PCB builds used across defense/aerospace, industrial and semiconductor systems, medical, automotive, and clean technology.As an In-Process Inspector, you’ll help ensure high-quality PCBA (printed circuit board assembly) production by performing detailed visual and solder inspection to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards. Day-to-day, you will inspect solder joints under high-power microscopes, verify AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and AXI/X-ray results, and complete First Article Inspection (FAI) against prints and BOMs to keep builds compliant and customer-ready.
