Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or related engineering field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in electro‑mechanical or industrial product design.
• Exposure to electro‑mechanical design principles and manufacturing considerations.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes (sheet metal, plastics, assembly).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electro‑mechanical components for commercial ice machines.
• Create and update 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
• Support product improvements, cost reductions, and design optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Participate in design reviews, testing, and validation of new products and features.
• Troubleshoot design issues and support root cause analyses.
• Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and bills of materials.
