Job summary

Pentair plc, operating Manitowoc Ice in Manitowoc, WI, is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing by maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and automated systems. The role focuses on minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation of plant equipment.

With 2–5 years in manufacturing maintenance and experience with PLCs, robotics, schematics, and CMMS, you will read drawings, support tooling and fixtures, and work safely in a dynamic industrial environment,

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Functional knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
• Experience with robotic systems and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and basic computer literacy.
• Basic welding, machining, and fabrication skills.
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in varying environmental conditions.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform diagnostics on robotic arms, CNC equipment, and vision systems.

We have an opportunity for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our Manitowoc, WI team. You will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems. This role requires minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work independently. The technician plays a key role in minimizing downtime and ensuring proper operation of plant and equipment.

You will:

• Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
• Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Shift/Hours:

10pm-6am Monday - Friday 2hrs regular OT, more available (after shift or on weekends)

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $32.00 to $38.00/hr + $1/hr shift premium. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
