Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I (Electromechanical) to support our Lake Forest, CA site. You will perform hands-on assembly, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment, partnering with engineers to drive quality and reliability.

Responsibilities include following drawings and work instructions, enabling smooth operations, and contributing to continuous improvement while adhering to safety and GxP/SOP requirements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent in English (reading/writing speaking).
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Follow engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and work instructions to build and test products.
• Support equipment setup, quality testing, rework, and manufacturing operations.
• Utilize manufacturing systems and computer applications to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist with process improvements, equipment enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and GxP/SOP requirements.
• Support team training and collaborate to achieve operational goals.
