Magna-Power Electronics, a Flemington, NJ-based electronics manufacturer, seeks an Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Assembler. You will assemble components with hand and power tools, read wiring diagrams, and follow verbal and tablet instructions on a push line or batch process.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; 1–2 years of related experience; knowledge of electrical wiring, crimping and blueprint reading.

• Minimum 1-2 years related experience and/or training required; mechanical experience preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude and accurate use of various hand and power tools for manufacturing of electronic components and wire assembly.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, crimping and blueprint reading required.
• Knowledge of BOMs, assembly drawings and related manufacturing documents preferred.
• Knowledge in crimping, soldering, and assembly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Working in a push line or batch process to combine tasks, reduce tool changes, and maximize labor efficiency.
• Using wire splicing and crimping tools to complete various wire harnesses.

• Reading work orders and following BOMs and bills of operations.
• Assemble electro-mechanical products.

Summary

The Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Assembler will perform a combination of duties in the final assembly of components according to specifications, using hand and power tools, wiring diagrams, and following verbal and tablet instructions. Given the complex nature of the products, there will be significant hands-on training and interaction with various Magna-Power teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Using hand and power tools to secure assemblies to chassis and connect them using wire harnesses
• Working in a push line or batch process to combine tasks, reduce tool changes, and effectively maximize labor efforts

Education & Skills Requirements

• Good mechanical aptitude and accurate use of various hand and power tools, and tabletop tools related to manufacturing of electronic components and wire assembly (Required)
• Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures and experience with electrical wiring, crimping and blue print reading (Required)
• Knowledge and understanding of BOMs, assembly drawings and any other related manufacturing documents is (Preferred)
• Knowledge in performing crimping, soldering, and assembly (Preferred)
