Job summary

This onsite Maintenance Technician III / Electro Mechanical Technician role is based in Alexandria, VA. You will support maintenance and reliability of production equipment, with emphasis on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, preventive maintenance, and rapid breakdown response.

You will read schematics, interpret manuals, and work with minimal supervision while prioritizing safety and uptime. Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Knowledge of starters, fuses, contacts, relays, and VFDs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong breakdown troubleshooting and repair capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to follow equipment manuals and safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to maintain safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair components including starters, fuses, relays, and VFDs.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform root-cause analysis.
• Repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment to reduce downtime.
• Read and apply equipment manuals and technical documentation.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues.
• Work independently with limited supervision while following procedures.
• Maintain maintenance records and communicate issues to the team.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability.
