Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu: 3:30pm-2:00am) to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment. This role requires troubleshooting across electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems and reading schematics or blueprints. Overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or 2-4 years manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.
• Troubleshoot electronic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems, plus fabrication/ Machining equipment and PLC’s.
• Strong knowledge of basic electricity, shop math and measuring techniques.
• Proficient with basic hand tools and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose across multiple trade areas.
• Execute repairs, tune-ups and replacements as required; overtime may be required.
