Job summary

Jabil in Hanover Park, IL seeks an experienced maintenance technician to perform a variety of electro-mechanical tasks under general supervision. You will troubleshoot, dismantle, repair and assemble equipment, and use test and calibration tools to validate performance.

Additionally, you will document maintenance, support process improvements, and potentially train staff. This full-time role may require overtime or on-call hours and adherence to security and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent required.
• 5–8 years of electro-mechanical equipment experience in manufacturing.
• Must read/write/communicate in English; able to communicate with technical support.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment in manufacturing.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment per plans and manuals.
• Perform checkouts using test and diagnostic equipment and calibrate as needed.
• Maintain data for process improvement initiatives and assist in procedures.
• May train others and may work overtime or be on-call.
