Job summary
Acushnet Company in Massachusetts is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Specialist to maintain and optimize golf ball manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
You will calibrate electromechanical devices, test instruments, and collaborate with Engineering to adapt equipment for evolving production needs while keeping precise maintenance records and minimizing
Qualifications
- 7+ years of industrial electrical experience in a skilled trade
- Formal training in AC/DC circuits and basic PLC functionality
- Experience with instrumentation, controls, and mechanical systems
- Proficient in reading blueprints, electrical/hydraulic schematics
- Must provide own trade tools and demonstrate strong work ethic
- Strong troubleshooting, installation and repair skills
- Proficient in English and safety practices (Lockout/Tagout)
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize production equipment in golf ball manufacturing
- Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and calibrate electromechanical devices
- Collaborate with Engineering to adapt equipment for production needs
- Plan work to minimize downtime and keep accurate maintenance records
- Test and calibrate instruments to meet performance standards
- Promote continuous improvement through effective communication
