Job summary

Acushnet Company, based in Massachusetts, is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Specialist to maintain and optimize production equipment in golf ball manufacturing. You will troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, perform preventive maintenance, calibrate devices, and collaborate with Engineering to design improvements for production needs.

The role requires formal training and experience in AC/DC circuits, PLCs, instrumentation, and reading

Qualifications

• Formal training in AC/DC circuits and PLC basics.
• Experience with instrumentation, controls, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and machine tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout and NFPA 70E safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize production equipment in golf ball manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and calibrations.
• Collaborate with Engineering to design or adapt equipment for production needs.
• Plan work to minimize downtime and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Test and calibrate instruments to meet performance standards.
