Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Installation & Maintenance – Electronics technician to install equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3+ years in construction, production, or related mechanical trades, the ability to read schematics, and a high school diploma. The role may require being on-call after hours and involves lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in construction, production, manufacturing, or mechanical trades.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; HVAC or related experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Electronics or related credentials preferred.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented and able to work in close-knit environment.

Responsibilities

• Equipment installation — Install new machinery and electronic equipment.
• Preventative maintenance — Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure proper function.
• Troubleshooting — Identify issues and perform mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Recordkeeping — Maintain accurate logs of maintenance, inspections, and status checks.
• Emergency support — Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• General mechanical tasks — Assist with additional duties as assigned.
