Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Finishing Technician II to diagnose, repair, and service customer equipment both in our shop and at customer sites. You’ll perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, PM, and field service for finishing, dispensing, and filtration equipment.

You’ll collaborate with customers, document work clearly, and help with installation, commissioning, and demonstrations while maintaining a safe lab and field environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in skilled trades or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
• Two certifications from Finishing, Dispensing & Filtration vendors, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service customer equipment in shop and field.
• Provide field service and maintenance support for industrial equipment.
• Support installation, setup, and commissioning of systems.
• Document work accurately in company systems and prepare equipment for shipment.
• Rebuild and test equipment, maintain demonstration gear, and assist with product training.
