Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Engineering Technician/Technologist in Sugar Land, TX to troubleshoot, service, and repair electro-mechanical equipment used in field operations. You will diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues and perform maintenance on downhole tools, using diagnostics software and learning wireline cable-related operations.

The role requires a high school diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong electrical knowledge and basic computer skills to support equipment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of Electro-Mechanical Technician or related technical field experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits and electronic troubleshooting.
• Experience with hydraulic systems and hydraulic circuit troubleshooting.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn software applications used for equipment diagnostics and operations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service, and repair electro-mechanical equipment used in field operations.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Perform maintenance and testing activities on downhole tools and related equipment.
• Utilize computer-based software systems to support equipment diagnostics and operations.
• Learn and support wireline cable-related operations as part of ongoing development within the role.
