Job summary

Caliber Sales Engineering is seeking an Electro-mechanical Engineer to lead assembly, repair, and optimization of complex machinery. The role blends electrical and mechanical engineering with hands-on manufacturing, reverse-engineering, and repair across lifecycle stages.

Ideal candidates have CAD, PLCs, sensors, actuators, motors skills and 5+ years in electromechanical environments; radar electronics experience is a plus and a security-clearance mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Certifications in electromechanical systems or manufacturing are advantageous.
• Equivalent work or military experience considered.
• 5+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly, repair and maintenance.
• Experience with radar electronics troubleshooting and repair is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, digital electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and controls.
• Familiarity with military operations and veterans with technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop assembly procedures, work instructions, and fixtures for electromechanical systems.
• Oversee the assembly process ensuring correct installation and manufacturability.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical systems; perform preventive maintenance.
• Develop and implement quality control processes; conduct tests and inspections.
• Analyze processes to improve efficiency, quality and cost; apply lean principles.
• Maintain documentation of procedures, repairs, and quality measures; generate reports.
• Provide training and support to technicians; promote safety and continuous improvement.
