Job description

Responsibilities

• Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas including vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production testing environments.
• Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements.
• Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum five (5) years of work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years of work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of technical/engineering experience in mechanical design and/or production support.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience with CAD solid modeling tools and analysis tools with an emphasis on ProE / CREO Parametric.
• Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance analysis.
• Experience creating mechanical drawing packages.
• Experience with configuration management processes, application, and tools (e.g., Windchill / cPDM).
• Experience with cable design, specifically CREO Schematic.
