Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of mechanical experience or training.
• Ability to read engineering drawings for assembly.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Knowledge of standard assembly tools and practices.

Responsibilities

• Unpack parts and inspect each for proper function and completeness.
• Assemble breakers to standard drawings and customer specifications.
• Prepare breakers for shipment or clean and prepare tanks and sub-assemblies for downstream assembly.
• Discuss errors in diagrams or production orders with supervisor or engineer.
• Perform assembly tasks in accordance with Quality Control Procedures.
• Inspect own work to ensure proper assembly, vacuuming, pre-filling, and test readiness.
• Document work performed by filling out labor, QC forms, etc.
• Clean work area at the end of the shift.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
