100Hires, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Technician in Gloucester, MA for an 18‑month contract with potential to go permanent. The role involves assembling mechanical and electrical subassemblies, reading schematics, and using hand/power tools.

Shifts include multiple differential rates and a weekend option, with safety and accuracy emphasized. You will work on Varian/Applied Materials equipment, supporting assembly, testing, troubleshooting and process improvements in a hands‑on manufacturing

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of non-semi manufacturing experience.
• Computer literate with ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Proficient with jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts and electrical subassemblies using hand and power tools, jigs and fixtures.
• Tests electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies and components.
• Troubleshoots and repairs under supervision; documents progress and parts used.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness and proper inventory of parts.
