Job Description

JBE Pickups has been making world-class electric guitar pickups since 1980. The company founder, Joe Barden, developed our T-Style pickups for (and with the help of) Danny Gatton. Since then, we’ve expanded our product line to include pickups for nearly every mainstream guitar and bass model.

The company has a 40+ year history and is world-renowned for quality, workmanship, and tone. We believe in our products and are working to double our production levels this year.

Position: Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician

We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team! You will perform assembly tasks and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assemble & test pickups for electric guitars
  2. Maintain finished goods and component inventories
  3. Coordinate component purchases with the Office Manager
  4. Perform incoming quality inspections for components
Skills and Education:
  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree in a technical field preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Familiarity with electric guitars
Compensation:

The position starts at $11 per hour during a 4-6 week training period. After training, the salary increases to $15 per hour, with further increases to $18 per hour based on performance. There is potential for advancement to supervisory or managerial roles.
