Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a Warehouse Associate, Configuration, to assemble and test electronic/electro-mechanical products. You will perform soldering, wiring, harnessing, and inspection to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

The role requires hands-on assembly experience, ability to read drawings, and strong problem-solving skills. You will work with a team to support production goals and may mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years in electronics/electro-mechanical assembly or an associate degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with electronic and electro-mechanical assembly, wiring, soldering, component installation, and cable harnessing.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, specs, and assembly procedures.
• Experience identifying and troubleshooting assembly defects, equipment issues, and product malfunctions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and finished products according to specifications.
• Perform hand soldering, wiring, cable harnessing, and component installation using proper tools.
• Inspect assemblies for fit, function, quality, and tolerances; troubleshoot issues.
• Disassemble, rework, repair, and reassemble products to meet quality standards.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members and collaborate across departments.
