Job summary

Fives Group is seeking an Assembly Technician to install, maintain and repair electro-mechanical and electrical components across various manufacturing systems. You will install and debug conveying system apparatus, wiring power controls, and read blueprints and schematics to ensure proper operation.

Candidates should be adept with pneumatic and hydraulic concepts, perform testing with basic instruments, and have a positive, proactive attitude. A competitive benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Experience debugging input/outputs of electrical systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams is beneficial.
• Basic hand tools are required.
• Positive attitude with technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electro-mechanical, electrical, and electronic components on equipment.
• Install and debug mechanical installation of conveying system apparatus (pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Wire motor power controls equipment circuits and read blueprints/schematics.
• Repair and replace defective parts in conveyors, motors, switchboards and electrical devices.
• Assemble junction boxes, back plates and harnesses per print.
