Job summary

TAPCO is hiring a Production Assembler for the 1st shift in Brown Deer, WI. The candidate will assemble, program, and test TAPCO products within a cell-based environment emphasizing Lean manufacturing and safety.

The role requires reading drawings, performing routine maintenance, and working in a team to meet production targets. Sign-on bonuses are paid in installments after 90 and 180 days of employment, with extensive benefits and a strong focus on growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret electronic and mechanical work instructions and schematics.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform manual tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptable to Lean manufacturing and 5S principles.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineer drawings to select correct parts.
• Assemble orders per engineered-to-order standards.
• Program and test finished products.
• Package products with protective materials.
• Participate in cell changeovers and lean improvements.
