TAPCO is hiring a Production Assembler for the 1st shift in Brown Deer, WI. The candidate will assemble, program, and test TAPCO products within a cell-based environment emphasizing Lean manufacturing and safety.
The role requires reading drawings, performing routine maintenance, and working in a team to meet production targets. Sign-on bonuses are paid in installments after 90 and 180 days of employment, with extensive benefits and a strong focus on growth.
Sign-on bonuses are paid in installments: (a) $1,000 after successful completion of 90 days of continuous employment; (b) remaining balance after successful completion of 180 days. Employment must be active and in good standing on payout dates.

1st Shift, Monday- Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
The Production Assembler position assembles, programs, and tests TAPCO manufactured products. The position operates within a cell work environment where standardized work, Lean Manufacturing, and safety are practiced. This role requires flexibility to adapt quickly to change and a desire for growth. This position plays a key role in TAPCO's prime metrics that feed directly into the companywide gainsharing program. A Production Assembler II will have a broad knowledge of Production tasks, performing some at high level. Cross trained with the ability to switch roles when needed.
