Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC, a leader in wire and cable production in North America, is hiring in Youngsville, North Carolina for a 7AM-3PM assembly role.

You will assemble and test low and high-voltage electro-mechanical components from schematics, wire and terminate panels, and verify functionality. Attention to detail, safety compliance, and reading diagrams are essential; prior load-center experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with load center wiring or electrical enclosures is required.
• 1-3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience with reading and interpreting schematics is required.
• Familiarity with NEC and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components per specifications.
• Wire, terminate, and connect load centers and panels.
• Install components into frames and enclosures.
• Test and troubleshoot to ensure quality and functionality.
• Inspect workmanship for defects and ensure quality standards.
• Document assembly procedures and issues from drawings.
• Read schematics and follow wiring diagrams.
• Maintain organized workspace and assist with materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
