Job summary

Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting in Sugar Land, TX seeks an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to assemble, integrate, and inspect computer systems, servers, rackmount systems, and cable assemblies. Read engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions with a focus on quality and safety in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will read technical docs, maintain attention to detail, and work well in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience assembling servers or electro‑mechanical products preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with ESD procedures and hand/power tools.
• Able to stand, bend, lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble computer systems, servers, and electro-mechanical components per drawings and BOMs.
• Install hardware, route cables, and perform mechanical sub-assemblies.
• Rivet sheet metal parts and apply RTV to boards and connections.
• Inspect assemblies, verify part numbers and labels.
• Follow ESD procedures and safety requirements.
• Meet production deadlines with accuracy and workmanship.
• Maintain organized workstation and assist with cross-training.
