Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for multiple manufacturing companies in Waterbury, CT. You will work from blueprints, schematics, and standard operating procedures to assemble, wire, inspect, and test finished products.

This role requires 2 years of experience and proficiency with precision measurement tools. The position offers a first shift, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with no degree required.

Qualifications

• Must have experience using precision measurement tools.
• Two years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical frames, housings, and brackets while routing, stripping, crimping, terminating, and soldering electrical harnesses, circuit boards, switches, and motors.
• Read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings, electrical point-to-point wiring diagrams, and bills of materials (BOM).
• Safely use hand, power, and pneumatic tools, calibrated torque drivers, wire strippers, crimpers, and soldering irons.
• Verify mechanical alignments, clearances, and torque specs; test electrical continuity, resistance, and ground bonds using digital multimeters.
• Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling practices, facility safety guidelines, and 5S organization standards.
