Aerotek in Milford, CT is seeking an Assembler to perform component assembly, sub-assembly, final assembly, calibration, inspection, repair, and packaging under supervision. You may work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities include assembling, testing, labeling, and shipping controls, with emphasis on continuous process improvements and adherence to quality systems. This is a contract-to-hire, fully onsite position offering a pay range of $19.00–$21.00 per hour.

Formación

• Proficiency in assembling components and interpreting blueprints.
• Experience with electro-mechanical and/or electronic manufacturing processes.
• Ability to follow English instructions and read basic math/reading tasks.
• Understanding technical drawings to ensure conforming products.
• Induction soldering skills with supervision.
• Soldering certification for in-process inspection.

Responsabilidades

• Understand component parts identification and inventory awareness.
• Apply continuous small batch manufacturing concepts to reduce lead times.
• Build sub-assemblies, final assemblies, and calibrate products.
• Perform test procedures and induction soldering as required.
• Label and package controls for shipment.
• Apply epoxy as needed and maintain quality standards.
• Implement new assembly aids and fixture procedures.
• Identify and address nonconformances in product, process, and quality system.
• Maintain safe working environment and follow safety procedures.
• Process necessary paperwork and perform other duties as assigned.
