Job Description - Electro Mechanical Assembler III (2406219166W)

Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Description:

Johnson and Johnson is recruiting for an Electro Mechanical Assembler III.

Overall Responsibilities:

Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished electromechanical products using documented procedures and specifications.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Assist lower level assembly personnel in diagnosing and resolving technical problems.
  2. Assemble and diagnose first time builds and design units with manufacturing engineering guidance.
  3. Organize and maintain work orders as they are received from the stockroom.
  4. Keep track of the scheduling system and dispense work that are expedites while balancing own workload.
  5. Follow up on calibration equipment, materials, and perform audits as required.
  6. Sustain accountability of tooling kits, work stations, and keep track of inventory issues.
  7. Assemble and solder components, sub-assemblies, and finished products of moderate complexity as prescribed by drawings and/or procedures.
  8. Conduct tests of assembled electromechanical products as prescribed by drawings and/or procedures.
  9. Document results of assembly and/or test operations on data sheets and manufacturing records.
  10. Diagnose, correct, and verify product originally not meeting specifications.
  11. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  12. Additional duties as assigned.
  13. Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics, and compliance at all times.
  14. Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or GED and 4 to 6 years related experience in electromechanical assembly.
  2. Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and procedures.
  3. Ability to provide detailed documentation of work results.
  4. Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and computing rate, ratio, and percent.
  5. Soldering experience is a preference.
  6. Electrical schematics is a preference.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and kneel. The employee may occasionally be required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM)
