Job summary

Ergotron, Inc. is seeking an Assembler II to perform light- to medium- complexity assembly and packaging of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices. You will read work orders, assemble components with hand and powered tools, and ensure quality before packaging.

This role requires 2-4 years of assembling experience, good English, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. You will work in a team environment and support Lean initiatives while maintaining clean work areas and accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years experience for Assembler II.
• Good mechanical aptitude and basic English.
• Read work instructions and keep production records.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in a team.
• Use hand, power, and pneumatic tools to assemble.
• Be able to meet physical requirements of the job.
• Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical devices using hand tools with or without MES.
• Review work order documentation for accuracy before assembly.
• Package and label products for shipment.
• Inspect products prior to packaging to ensure quality conformance.
• Collaborate with Engineer/Supervisor to resolve assembly issues.
• Assist in build scheduling and process improvements.
• Work with warehouse to complete work orders and manage shortages.
