Job summary

UNIZON Taskforce Technology in Dexter, MI is seeking an experienced Assembler II to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in electronic assembly, medical device assembly, or a combination of both.

Responsibilities include assembling, inspecting, testing, reworking, and modifying products according to procedures, diagrams, and quality requirements. This is a 2nd-shift position with training on 1st shift for two weeks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electronic assembly and/or medical device assembly.
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, schematics, diagrams, visual aids, and process flow sheets.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations.
• Assemble products and subassemblies using work instructions, diagrams, schematics, visual aids, and process layouts.
• Use hand tools and other manufacturing equipment to prepare and assemble products.
• Perform continuity checks and basic functional testing on work-in-process and completed assemblies.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet established specifications.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble assemblies as required.
• Support the assembly and testing of experimental or prototype products when needed.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, abnormalities, or quality issues.
• Follow established manufacturing processes, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation.
• Provide guidance and assistance to new or entry-level employees when needed.
• Work effectively with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and other internal teams.
