Job summary

LifeSafer, Inc. is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler I (Temporary) in Sharonville, OH. The role involves assembling, testing, and reworking assemblies and components to meet production specifications.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, following drawings, troubleshooting, and performing go/no-go testing. The position runs Monday–Friday, with a comprehensive benefits package offered for eligible employees.

Qualifications

  • Solid communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Solid practical skills in electronics manufacturing and the ability to use common tools.
  • Understanding of the assembly process.
  • High school diploma or GED and 1–3 years related experience, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Reads work orders and follows production drawings or instructions.
  • Performs troubleshooting and module swapping to repair products.
  • Positions and aligns parts in jigs or fixtures.
  • Joins parts by screws, soldering, cementing, or similar methods.
  • Mounts components on printed circuit boards.
  • Installs finished assemblies in cases and attaches hardware.
  • Performs go/no-go testing and inspection to meet specs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Job Summary:

Assembles, reworks, and tests assemblies, subassemblies, components, products, or systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding assembly duties to be performed.
  • Performs troubleshooting and some module swapping in order to repair product
  • Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in a jig, fixture, or other holding device.
  • Screws, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
  • Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on a printed circuit board.
  • Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases.
  • Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, straps, and switches, to assemblies.
  • Performs network go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned
Experience and Skills

Skills/Abilities:

  • Solid communication skills and ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Must have solid practical skills in electronics manufacturing and the ability to use common tools
  • Understanding of assembly process

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or training.
  • 2 years related experience desired
