Job summary

FastTrack Staffing in Michigan is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to read worksheets and diagrams, assemble components, and follow samples to build units. You will place parts, use hand tools, and perform basic testing and packaging.

Requirements include at least 1 year in manufacturing and the ability to stand 8+ hours daily. This is a drug-free workplace; pre-employment drug screen and national background check required. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a manufacturing setting.
• The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Read worksheets and diagrams or follow samples to determine assembly duties.
• Assemble smaller components into units.
• Place parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Screw, solder, or fasten parts together using hand and simple machine assembly.
• Test, calibrate, and/or package finished components.
• Train and/or assist in the training of new employees.
• Insert electronic components into circuit boards and solder as required.
• Use simple tools such as calipers, cutters, and screwdrivers; use simple machines such as riveter, crimper.
• Work in the Harness and Gauge Room.
• Other duties as assigned.
