Job summary

Sun Technologies in Danvers, MA is seeking self-motivated, experienced individuals for a 6-month contract working as mechanical/electro-mechanical assemblers in our automation distribution environment.

You will read BOMs and schematics, perform wiring, crimping, soldering, and assemble subassemblies, while following instructions and maintaining quality. Proficiency with Word and Excel and the ability to manage multiple projects are required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret work instructions, BOMs, blueprints, and schematics to assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical subassemblies.
• Follow specified methods and sequences to perform wiring, component installation, kit assembly, and inspection.
• Perform crimping and soldering as required by assembly tasks.
• Read electrical and mechanical schematics and understand measurements and tolerances.
• Assemble parts, align, and fasten units using hand and power tools.
• Connect cables, tubes, and wiring per specifications.
• Work independently from instructions and on-the-job training.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Word and Excel and communicate clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical subassemblies per BOMs and drawings.
• Perform wiring, component installation, and inspection per procedures.
• Crimp and solder components as required.
• Read and apply schematics and tolerances accurately.
• Assemble and align parts using hand/power tools.
• Connect cables and wiring per specs.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain proficiency in Word/Excel for reporting.
