The Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling and integrating all types of water pumping station controls and components to close tolerances and strict requirements.
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to close tolerances and strict inspection. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must frequently lift 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties and responsibilities of this position, the employee will frequently stand or walk, occasionally talk and listen, and move from place to place. He/she will frequently use hands to handle or touch. Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
The work environment characteristics for this position are in an industrial setting where all policies regarding safety have to be followed. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
