Job summary

Sealed Air in Streetsboro, OH is seeking an electro-mechanical assembler to build and integrate conveyors and equipment, read blueprints and wire run lists, and support production startups.

You will use hand tools such as torque wrenches, crimpers and drills, work with engineering on modifications, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Four years of assembly experience and a high school diploma are required, with Lean Six Sigma knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Experience in mechanical assembly and troubleshooting; assembly of capital equipment preferred.
• Experience in the proper use of hand tools (i.e. torque wrenches, crimpers, drills).
• Experience wiring and knowledge of basic hardware (metric and standard).
• Knowledge of writing and operating PLCs and HMIs.
• Must have reliable transportation. Ability to communicate with all levels of co-workers to assure continuity in production.
• Ability to read, write and speak English is required.
• Lean Six Sigma concepts strongly preferred.
