Job summary

TOPS Staffing is hiring Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technicians for a rapidly growing manufacturing company that has expanded into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. You will perform bench-style electro-mechanical assembly and build mechanical components used in control cabinets and related equipment.

Experience with mechanical/production assembly, hand and power tools, and point-to-point wiring is preferred; soldering is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical or production assembly work.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Experience with point-to-point wiring is preferred.
• Soldering experience is a plus.
• Ability to read assembly drawings or wiring diagrams is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench assembly of electro-mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Build mechanical assemblies used in electrical control systems.
• Perform point-to-point wiring based on diagrams and instructions.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Perform basic testing and inspection of assembled components.
