Job summary

The Panther Group in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Assembler for a 6-month, 1st shift contract in Burlington. You will perform hands-on assembly of complex systems, read wiring diagrams, and follow BOMs to build precision equipment.

Responsibilities include documentation, equipment testing, and collaborating with Engineering to resolve production challenges. A high school diploma and 4–6 years of assembly experience are required, with focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4–6 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Strong electromechanical assembly experience.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Experience with cabling, connectors, torquing, crimping, and mechanical assembly.
  • Comfortable working independently and following engineering direction.
  • ISO 9100 environment experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on electromechanical assembly of complex systems and equipment.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, and BOMs.
  • Assemble products using online manufacturing instructions and documentation.
  • Identify production issues and communicate recommendations to Engineering.
  • Review drawings, specifications, ECOs, and TDAs using Agile.
  • Help manage inventory and coordinate workload with the Planner.
  • Maintain accurate online production records.
  • Ensure products are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

This could be a great opportunity to put your electromechanical skills to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Schedule1st Shift: Approximately 6:00 AM–2:30 PMThere is some flexibility, with schedules such as:6:30 AM–3:00 PM7:00 AM–3:30 PMMost employees prefer the earlier start times to avoid traffic.What You'll DoPerform hands-on electromechanical assembly of complex systems and equipment.Cable systems and connect and torque both large and small assemblies.Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).Assemble products using online manufacturing instructions and documentation.Perform operations such as drilling, reaming, burnishing, tapping, crimping, and pull testing.Work closely with Engineering and Product Management to solve production and new-product challenges.Identify production issues and communicate recommendations to Engineering.Review drawings, specifications, ECOs, and TDAs using Agile.Help manage inventory and coordinate workload with the Planner.Work across multiple product lines and help train others on proper assembly procedures.Maintain accurate online production records.Help ensure products are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent4–6 years of manufacturing or assembly experienceStrong electromechanical assembly experienceAbility to read wiring diagrams and schematicsExperience with cabling, connectors, torquing, crimping, and mechanical assemblyComfortable working independently and following engineering directionStrong problem-solving skills and a willingness to think outside the boxAbility to work in an ISO 9100 environmentComfortable using computerized manufacturing documentation systemsPositive, team-oriented attitudePay $25 - $28 / hour depending on experience#INDENG
