Job Description
Summary:
- The Electro-Mechanical Assembler works in a one-piece flow cell performing bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools. This role involves assembling ESD-sensitive delicate components and cables for specialized computers and displays.
- Looking for someone with a positive attitude and team spirit.

- Able to work with limited supervision in a team environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge and capability to build and possibly do limited testing on units on the manufacturing floor.
- Technical capacity to understand parts, drawings, and bill of materials (BOM).
Responsibilities:
- Function in a Lean manufacturing environment, adding value by reducing waste.
- Assemble and test parts using drawings and bill of materials.
- Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods, including crimping, is required.
- Use of common hand and power tools, including specialized tools, may be required.
- Follow documented procedures for fitting, adjusting, and ensuring proper functioning of parts.
- Meet job completion and shipping deadlines.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the production supervisor.
