Responsibilities
  • Optical and Electro-mechanical Assembly: Assemble components and systems according to work instructions and training, ensuring precise handling and placement to achieve required tolerances.
  • Quality Inspection and Documentation: Inspect parts and assemblies for cosmetic and functional quality. Record assembly processes for traceability and improvement. Notify the Quality Department or Manufacturing management of any part or machinery changes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work closely with Lead Assembler by proactively suggesting changes in working conditions, layout, or equipment use to enhance efficiency. Provide feedback on assembly processes and work instructions.
  • General Duties: Participate in daily operational tasks, including preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining workspaces, handling recyclables, and other tasks typical in a small company environment.
  • Promote and display G&H values: Customer focus, Integrity, Action, Unity, and Precision.
  • Adhere to all Company policies, management systems, and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities related to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
  • Provide Environmental commitment to maintain sustainability and progress towards net zero.
  • Develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel, maintaining a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
Requirements
  • Proficient in handling assembly tools and equipment for optical and electromechanical systems.
  • High standard of accuracy in assembly, inspection, and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, assist teammates, and contribute positively to work culture.
  • Shows initiative to learn new processes and adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of assembly and inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
