Description

Acara solutions is looking for Electro-Mechanical assemblers for our partner located in San Leandro, CA who specializes in defense product manufacturing.

Here is what you will get:

Pay Rate: $30-$34/hr

Schedule: 9/80 Schedule, employees work 9 out of every 14 days - Totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off.

What you will be doing:

• Performs electrical and mechanical assembly work utilizing blueprints and operation sheets
• Uses standard hand tools and various epoxies to perform operations
• Perform work with microscopes for lengthy periods of time
• Interfaces with quality assurance and test personnel to ensure sub assemblies are inspected and tested at specified checkpoints
• performs hand soldering, wiring, and assembling small complex components
• Perform rework and repairs
• Performs limited, intermittent physical exertion. Works under acceptable conditions with some distraction due to occasional exposure to noise, dust, heat or chemicals

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Requires a High school diploma or a GED
• Minimum 7 years of electro-mechanical assembly
• Ability to read operation sheets and moderately complex blueprints
• Requires Soldering skills
• Knowledge of electronic components and color codes
• Ability to pass IPC J-STD-001
• May be required to obtain a security clearance
